NAACP Arlington Branch Primary Election Candidate Forum

Please join the NAACP for a County Board Candidate Forum. Hear directly from candidates running for the County Board on how they will prioritize issues affecting Black and other people of color in Arlington if they are elected.

During the June primary elections, voters will choose the candidate who will receive the Democratic nomination for the Arlington County Board race in November. No candidates are running in the primary for the Republican nomination. Since Arlington is a majority Democratic county, the winner of the Democratic primary often goes on to win the general election in November.

This structured and moderated event will help inform community members where the Democratic County Board candidates stand on issues such as criminal justice, housing, education, economic development, and community engagement.

The County Board Candidate Forum will take place after our monthly General Membership Meeting starting at 6:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you at the forum and at the polls during early voting or on Election Day Tuesday, June 18th!
